Successful development of no-oil-filled FRP dual laterolog tool electrode system

RICH WELL LOGGING instrument division of Yongxing Science & Technology has successfully developed and produced no-oil-filled FRP dual laterolog tool electrode system.
no-oil-filled FRP dual laterolog tool electrode system is composed by heat-resistant FRP (260℃) composite materials. This material could resist the corrosion of H2S and CO2; wear-resisting performance is better than rubber electrode. This well logging instrument itself bear the outside pressure(140MPa~175MPa). It don’t need silicone oil injection and Pressure balance piston and capsule, so this save a lot of trouble from frequently oil injection and oil recharging of normal electrode system. Pressure-bearing plates are placed on upper and lower joint to prevent the possible damage to other device due to this instrument leakage. The upper and lower joint, the distance between electrodes and the connectors are all could be design and made according to customers’ joint dimension.
